# How do I reset my password?

Forgot your password or need to change it for security reasons? Resetting your password on [EarnLab](https://earnlab.com/) is quick and easy. Here's how to do it.
## **How to Reset Your Password**
**Step 1:** Go to the [EarnLab login page](https://earnlab.com/?modal=auth).
**Step 2:** Click on the "Forgot Password" link below the login form.
**Step 3:** Enter the email address associated with your EarnLab account.
**Step 4:** Click the submit button to request a password reset.
**Step 5:** Check your email inbox for a password reset link from EarnLab. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
**Step 6:** Click the link in the email. This will take you to a page where you can create a new password.
**Step 7:** Enter your new password and confirm it.
**Step 8:** Save your changes and log in with your new password.
That's it! You should now be able to access your account with your new password.
## **Tips for Creating a Strong Password**
When setting your new password, keep these tips in mind:
* Use at least 8 characters (longer is better).
* Include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters.
* Add numbers and special characters (!@#$%^&*).
* Avoid using easily guessable information like your name, birthday, or common words.
* Don't reuse passwords from other websites.
## **I Didn't Receive the Reset Email**
If the password reset email hasn't arrived:
* **Check your spam/junk folder:** Reset emails sometimes get filtered.
* **Wait a few minutes:** Email delivery can occasionally be delayed.

## **I Don't Have Access to My Email**

## **Signed Up with Social Login?**
If you created your account using Google, Discord, or another social login method, you don't have a separate EarnLab password. To access your account:
* Use the same social login button you originally used to sign up.
* If you need to change your password, you'll need to do so through that provider (Google, Discord, etc.), not through EarnLab.
## **Keep Your Account Secure**
After resetting your password:
* Don't share your password with anyone.
* Consider using a password manager to store your credentials securely.
* Log out of shared or public devices after using EarnLab.
