# How often are leaderboard rewards distributed?

Competing on the leaderboards is a great way to earn extra rewards on [EarnLab](https://earnlab.com/). Here's everything you need to know about when and how leaderboard rewards are distributed.
## **Two Leaderboards, Two Reward Schedules**
EarnLab has two separate leaderboards, each with its own reward distribution schedule:
### **Daily Leaderboard**
The daily leaderboard resets every 24 hours, and rewards are distributed at the end of each day. This gives you a fresh chance to compete and win every single day.
### **Monthly Leaderboard**
The [monthly leaderboard](https://earnlab.com/races) runs for the entire calendar month and offers bigger prizes. Rewards are distributed at the end of each month when the leaderboard resets.
## **How to Participate**
Participating in the leaderboards is automatic—there's no sign-up required. However, each leaderboard tracks different activities:
**Earn Leaderboard:** Climb the rankings by completing [offers](https://earnlab.com/tasks). The more you earn, the higher your position.
**Games Leaderboard:** Climb the rankings by opening [boxes](https://earnlab.com/boxes). The more you wager, the higher your position.
The more active you are, the higher you'll climb on each leaderboard!
## **When Exactly Are Rewards Distributed?**
**Daily rewards:** Distributed after the daily leaderboard resets (typically at midnight UTC).
**Monthly rewards:** Distributed after the monthly leaderboard resets at the end of each month.
Rewards are credited directly to your account balance once the leaderboard period ends.
## **Tips for Climbing the Leaderboard**
* Stay consistent—daily activity adds up quickly.
* Focus on higher-value offers to maximize your earnings and leaderboard points.
* Check the leaderboard regularly to see where you stand.
