What does "Offer Pending" / "Offer on hold" mean?
If you've completed an offer on EarnLab and see a status like "Offer Pending" or "Offer on hold," you might be wondering what's going on with your credits. Don't worry—here's what these statuses mean and what you can expect.
Understanding Offer Statuses
Offer Pending: This means your offer completion has been registered, but the credits haven't been fully confirmed yet. The offerwall provider is still verifying that all requirements were met before releasing the reward.
Offer on Hold: This status indicates that your offer is being held by EarnLab's security system. Our system automatically holds certain tasks based on various indicators, such as account standing, offer chargeback risk, and the value of the task. This is a protective measure to ensure the integrity of the platform.
Why Do Offers Go on Hold?
Since tracking is handled by our external offerwall providers, they have their own processes for verifying offer completions. Common reasons for holds include:
Standard Holding Periods: Some offers, especially higher-paying ones like app installations, subscriptions, or game-level achievements, have built-in holding periods ranging from 12 hours to 45 days. This allows the advertiser to confirm genuine engagement.
Verification Checks: The provider may be verifying that all offer requirements were completed correctly.
Fraud Prevention: Offerwalls have security measures to detect suspicious activity. If something triggers their systems, the offer may be held for review.
Advertiser Confirmation: In some cases, the advertiser who created the offer needs to confirm the completion before credits are released.
For On-Hold Offers (EarnLab Security System):
Our automated system holds certain offers based on risk assessment factors to protect both users and the platform. This is a standard security measure and doesn't necessarily indicate any issue with your account.
How Long Will My Offer Be Pending or on Hold?
The duration varies depending on the offer and the offerwall provider:
- Simple offers (surveys, sign-ups) are usually credited within minutes to a few hours.
- App installs and game offers may have holding periods of 7 to 45 days.
- High-value offers often have longer verification periods.
The specific holding period is usually mentioned in the offer details before you start. We recommend checking the offer requirements carefully so you know what to expect.
What Should I Do?
Be Patient: Most pending offers are credited automatically once the verification or holding period is complete.
Check Your Profile: Visit your profile to monitor the status of your started offers.
Wait 72 Hours: If an offer has been pending for an unusually long time, wait at least 72 hours before taking further action, as tracking can sometimes be delayed.
What If My Offer Never Credits?
Since tracking is handled by the offerwall providers, you'll need to contact them directly if your offer doesn't credit after the expected timeframe:
For Offers Started Through an Offerwall: Submit a ticket inside the offerwall's history under "Missing Credits." Make sure to attach proof of completion (screenshots uploaded to Imgur or a similar service are typically required).
For Offers Started Through the Offer Gallery: After 72 hours, you'll see a support button on the started task in your profile. Use this to submit your support request directly.
Tips for Avoiding Issues
- Read all offer requirements carefully before starting.
- Complete every step mentioned in the offer instructions.
- Take screenshots as you progress through the offer as proof of completion.
- Don't use VPNs or ad blockers, as these can interfere with tracking.
- Follow the Terms of Service of both EarnLab and the specific offerwall.
